degrees. sunshine in san jose at 70, a variable wind in santa rosa but clear skies and mid-60's with oakland reporting sunny conditions in redwood city at 65 degrees. the coast is not clear. we are shrouded with a debt of patchy stratus. we will clear out and then we will have our last summer weekend, it very unseasonably warm one. by tonight, everyone has cleared out from the low clouds and patchy fog, and as we progress through thursday, the clouds are going to stay offshore for the most part. so this leads us to believe that the northwest wind will pick up and produce a slight onshore flow. meanwhile today, a near record repeat, whether repeat, from what we experienced yesterday as far as statistics are concerned. upper 50's and low 60s. '60s and '70s will be common across the peninsula. we jump up to 85 degrees in sunnyvale, saratoga and the low '80s and then the warmest temperatures will be reported around the eastern portion of our district with that northwest wind at 15 .. 91 degrees in brentwood in tracy and oakley and 85 in napa valley, that is what we experienced yesterday.

hurt. the suspect is described as a middle eastern or hispanic man in his early 40's, about 5 ft. 9 in. with a medium build, the victim said that he looked like an average jogger. new details about a student's prized cello. we got off the phone with the san fransisco conservatory of music and tell us that the cello has been found so that is good news, the instrument similar to the one in this photograph, was taken sunday afternoon from a music students locker, it turned up around midnight but at this point no one is saying where. the father of the student posted these pictures on line of a couple that he thinks are the culprits. he says they entered the building empty handed and left with a cello. officers say that they're not connected with the school, that classical instrument is worth at least $11,000. >> chic-fil-a fast food chain has reportedly agreed to stop giving money to anti-gay organizations. the restaurant came under fire after president made his anti gay marriage stance clear back in july, followed by a lot of backlash, as you may remember, including boycotts. today chicag

rapidly and the north bay valley's will likely drop down to the upper '40's tonight, sunny and cool this evening for the bay, cloudy quickly at the coast and in the clear with mid-70s inland, a fine evening along the 680 corridor. we're taking a look at the satellite review, clouds moving from the north to the south because today high-pressure built off to the west and the wind flows clockwise around high pressure so you get a northwest flow of air keeping things sunny with a coast being the exception but it is also not a warm pattern, this being the warmest time of year because of that offshore or east wind, i am not seeing that for the next couple days, likely not until thursday, so we will stay near or below normal temperatures. fog moves inland after midnight, foggy along the coast. north bay valid for a second straight morning dropping down to the '40's and we will see more of an offshore wind by the end of the week, on thursday and noticed extended forecast with the merger shooting up. tomorrow below average with sunnyvale at 77. campbell, a high of 80 and san jose 78 degrees. mid
